Use a quality flake or cichlid pellet for the staple diet and offer them treats of chopped cockles or mussels, blood worms and chopped shrimps for treats. Origin South America; Bolivian cichlids are to be found in the waterways of Bolivia and Peru. Sexing Males will be slightly larger and more colourful than the females; they will also have extended dorsal and anal fins.
