Sexing The top edge of the dorsal fin is coloured into dark red, and males have a pointed genital papilla. Breeding You’ll need an acidic (pH level below 7.0) and relatively soft water (dGH about 12). Naturally, increase the temperature. Eggs are laid on a previously cleaned rock.
